A FUTA surveying team won the Young Ocean Scholars research competition

A lecturer and two students from FUTA’s Department of Surveying and Geoinformatics won the 2026 Young Ocean Scholars university research contest, organised by the National Hydrographic Agency in Lagos.
The result is an example of student research in surveying and geoinformatics reaching a national ocean-science forum.
