FUTA workshop applied AI to health and climate problems
Workshop opening
An African Research Excellence Fund-supported workshop at FUTA’s School of Computing covered machine learning, time-series methods, geospatial analysis and practical AI deployment.
The workshop used health and climate applications to connect model development with real-world problems. FUTA attributes the training to the follow-up phase of an AREF fellowship.
